Tempered glass V plastic screen protectors
Plastic screen protectors are typically quite cheap and also very thin. They typically cost as low as £1 or less and are created using a single slim sheet of plastic. Glass protectors are a high quality purchase that typically cost anywhere from £5-£20 depending on company and specifications.

Strength:
Tempered glass is a stronger material than plastic and is much sturdier than plastic that can often be at a similar price point. Plastic protectors often bubble and are rather difficult to put on a smartphone due to their thin material. Glass protectors are typically much thicker than their plastic counterparts, for example most tempered glass protectors are 0.3-0.4mm thick while plastic are generally only 0.1mm.
